I remember when I was young and I went to Botanical Garden With the senior school and we went in a double decker bus and I was on a the top.//

After that We hoped out of the bus and I was so close to fainting then I said” someone pinch me” then my friend actually pinch me and then I said” thats just a expression”. Then We had to walk all the way to a young looking woman whose name is Caroline and she led us to a beautiful courtyard where we got to eat our morning tea where their was a big tea cup with water and little leaves inside and just could not stop taking photos with Mrs Cochranes red velvet camera. Then after morning tea we went to a beautiful classroom and she taught us about what is New Zealand to us (room 4). After that we went to a place were their was a egg that had a piece missing then I looked behind me and there was a big egg piece and it had words on it but I wasn't bother to read it cause I had to go to my class and sit on logs and she also gave us misquote spray to make sure that they don’t bite us then we had to  listen to a story and guess what my friend Gina got to be the Tui and drank the fake nectar from the kowhai tree then Caroline gave us a little circle mat to sit on because to have a magic moment that meant to have a listen to the nature then we had talk to the person near you and, tell them what you heard and I had faith who was my partner. After that we went to a place where it had a bridge to pick kowhai seeds to put inside a mail letter then we had to walk back up to go to the edible garden to make ourself s Harakeke, Flax and pricking and we also got to pick  2 to take home or to leave at school. After getting our hands dirty we had to go back to the courtyard to have lunch, then we had to go into groups to have a bush work and find leaves on the ground  to take back to school and we had a supervisor and her name was Mrs Victor. After taking photos, walking around we came back and saw no groups there so after we waited a while the other group had found guava and we said” we did you find it” they said they found it near a figueroa tree but there was no point going because they were little any way but I went, then ran back to my friends and they had a lot so we ate them all. Then it time for us to leave this amazing place but we were coming back there was a wedding going on  and I thought in my head they are going to need a lot of mosquito spray. When we were on the bus I thought in my head while waving goodbye to the beautiful place maybe I might bring my kids here someday if robots didn't take over the world. Then when we got back at school I was like home sweet home because their was no mosquito and no more walking around to make my legs tired  but just to sit in my comfortable chair and relax but then we had to go sit on the mat and talk to our teacher about how fun it was but spoiler alert!!!! But it was fun for me because I learnt a lot!!.

KOWHAI TREEScreenshot 2015-02-26 at 12.40.27 PM.png

Screenshot 2015-02-26 at 12.42.06 PM.pngKowhai is popular in New Zealand and has good use for artwork. Artist love to use it for its clear yellow golden petals. They grow in bunches hanging down from a stem. Kowhai has lovely nectar that tuis love for food. Tuis suck the nectar out by their long beaks. The kowhai tree can grow up to 25 metres high. Nearly everyone in the world loves kowhai in their garden because of its beautiful petals and sharp colours. Kowha trees have little simple leaves that are spikey and pointy branches that extend and spread. They are mostly well known for their pretty, yellow flowers that bloom in spring.
