My ANZAC Report

ANZAC

What Is ANZAC? ANZAC means Australia New Zealand Army Corp. Is also the remembrance of people who went to war for us and fought for us.

Why do we commemorate ANZAC? To thank them and to remember the men and women who risked their life for us and for them in the first world war and for dying for us.

How do we commemorate ANZAC? In N.Z we always celebrate it by a dawn parade which is very popular. We can also celebrate it by wearing poppies and giving money to a bucket that people do at a little stands at malls.

What is a dawn celebration? A dawn celebration is the most popular ANZAC tradition. It starts with a parade by servicemen and woman to the memorial were families and people meet each other. The short service starts with a drum roll.
