Saint Lucy
Lucy lived in Italy in a small city called Sicily in the year 300. There was a young rich man who wanted to marry Lucy but Lucy refused because he accused Lucy of being a nice and beautiful Christian he got very angry. Lucy was famous for helping people that had bad eyesight or people who are blind and her name means light.
Lucy was tortured by the governors soldiers and was thrown into fire but that did not kill her so they stabbed her in the throat with a sharp sword.
